One of the reasons I joined the good people of Amnesty International was because of my opposition to the death penalty. I believe it to always be immoral. In the case of Iraq reconciliation must be priority one in order to begin to heal and hopefully bring a halt to the sectarian violence. Put him in prison for life, treat him humanely and let that humanity begin to spill over the nation.
