Many Reasons to Impeach Bush/Cheney

The Office of Special Plans purposely lied the American people into a war with Iraq. The whole administration is guilty of treasonous type activity and likely war crimes for invading a country on false pretenses, intentionally using illegal and inappropriate weapons around civilian populations and misrepresenting our reasons for being there to the American public and the world.

The Bushies are now doing the same thing with Iran. This administration has lost all credibility on foreign policy especially when they are gearing up for war. They manufactured evidence to mislead Congress and the American people into a war with Iraq. They appear, macho tough talk included, to be doing the exact same thing with Iran.

An Administrations Legacy
Other recent events have highlighted the necessity for impeachment of both Bush and Cheney.

The unconstitutional stance on Habeas Corpus; from the mouth of our Attorney General, “…the Constitution doesn't say that every individual in the United States or every citizen has or is assured the right of habeas corpus. It doesn't say that. It simply says that the right of habeas corpus shall not be suspended.”Alberto Gonzales

Posse comitatus has been damaged considerably by the 109th Congress by sneaking in a provision for the president to be able to use the military as a police force. To quote the New York Times, “Beyond cases of actual insurrection, the president may now use military troops as a domestic police force in response to a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, terrorist attack or to any “other condition.”

Former Intelligence Officials Testify About Damage Caused by Outing of Covert CIA Agent
Scooter finished falling on the sword. Every time I think I should be happy about justice having been served and that finally the Bushies are beginning to pay for their actions it gets tempered quickly because what they did had extreme consequences. Besides the hurt to the nation and the Wilson’s, people paid with their lives from having an undercover CIA operation exposed. This was surely treason committed in an effort to stifle Bush administration critics. It’s about the lies that led to a bogus war in Iraq leading to thousands of deaths and injuries both theirs and ours.

The whole new story of the purging of US attorneys much of which still has to come to light.

Fired U.S. Attorneys
There is a long list to be compiled of administration crimes against the people of the United States.

If this president and his vice president have not committed crimes of high enough level to warrant impeachment is it ever possible for impeachment to ever be used except for an occasion of sexual misconduct?
