The Truth about Barack Obama and William Ayers

Haven't we had enough of lies, fear, and distortions, over the last eight years,used by the GOP in order to move the American people into a direction that's reprehensible. The same people who so readily accepted all things Bush are the same who so readily believe the lies that Barack is a terrorist, traitor and 'yes' anti-christ.

They are ready and willing to accept something as being green one day, then believe, without a doubt, because they've been told, that same thing is orange the next day, while it has been, in fact, truly blue all along.

How do you fight for the truth when such willing gullibility and voluntary ignorance is so pervasive among their ranks. They have been so dominated by right-wing purveyors of lies on the radio and FOX that they cannot even for a moment open their minds to the fact that these personalities, they willingly make figures of hero worship, are making fools of them while using them for their own extreme political desires.

What's dangerous is that Bush/McCain/Palin are encouraging racism, hate and violence among the intellectually and emotionally unstable. They are not only acting in an insulting way to all Americans but in a way that is demeaning to the whole history of our democracy. It is outrageously shameful to accuse the duly elected Democratic representative of the loyal opposition of terrorism and treason.

McCain/Palin have been demonstrating that they embrace risky 'end justifies the means' method of problem solving by the way they embrace Rovian politics steeped in lies, innuendo and now with racist born hate. Blaming the financial crisis on minorities, especially the 'black kind', and arousing suspicion of those who are different and encouraging fear of anyone who thinks about politics or religion in a way that may be strange to them is a typical way for fascism to grow like a cancer.

I get the felling I’m supposed to hate. I can’t be a loyal American or a good Catholic (or any other kind of proud patriotic Christian) unless I believe that all members of Islam want to make us all like them or destroy us and our freedom in the process, that anyone who supports Obama is a terrorist sympathizer or follower of the antichrist and that all liberals (Democrats) want to destroy America and the family. This type of politics and the words and the actions they’re meant to initiate inflame the haters.

Hate is evil; it always has been. The loyal followers of all things Neocon are deceiving themselves that they are doing God’s will while calling evil good. Bravado driven nationalism that disguises hate in an illusion of the defense of mom and apple pie does not improve its immorality.

They frighten me and I worry how they will attempt to use their frenzied mobs to push us further into fascism (their crowds sure look and sound like those who have rabidly embraced it's propaganda). The, McPalin's angry hooligans, behave very much as a fascist driven torrent looking to wash away everything that doesn't fit into their tiny ideological mindset. I have serious worries, if they are unsuccessful at stealing the election, how they will behave in the months and years to follow. I have many more worries if they do steal it!!!
